For Teacher's Choice Day, we ate outside in the courtyard. The kids really enjoyed being outside and thought it was very special to be the only class doing that! :)

Scroll Challenge Winners Pizza Party!
Each year, I challenge the students to write their numbers as far as they can. I correct any reversals or transpositions so the kids know how to write the numbers correctly. We started at the end of March this year and students had the opportunity to work on it during "free" time. They did awesome! Kyle wrote past 700 and Delaney wrote past 400! They each got to pick a friend to join us for the pizza party. Great Job Kyle & Delaney!

Farm Field Trip
Every year, we visit a farm to learn more about the animals, crops, and responsibilities of farm families. We visited Kevin and Julie VanManen's Farm in Kellogg for the 2nd year in a row. They invite some Lynnville-Sully FFA members to run some of the stations and Julie ran a station as well. The kids had so much fun learning new information and also sharing information that we had already learned. We have some pretty smart farm experts! :) Below are photos of our special day.
