Holiday Fun

This week has been filled with holiday cheer! We had 3rd grade caroling in our classroom.  Mrs. Francisco brought her guitar in for us to sing.  All of the kids had the chance to play the bells and even a few had a chance to play Mrs. Francisco's guitar! It has been a great but tiring week and we are all looking forward to Winter Break.  I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy holiday season!  See you in 2014!

Candy House Pictures--Finally!

First of all, I truly apologize for not getting these on the blog sooner! I am usually so much better about it but clearly have had a lot on my plate.

We had a wonderful, fun-filled day creating holiday crafts and a candy house.  All of the kids rotated to each room to create different crafts. At the end of the day, we were all tired but made memories that will last for a long time!

The day was a blur of glitter and pictures in my classroom! I don't think I've ever seen as many smiles as I did on that day.  It truly makes me reflect on being a Kindergarten teacher and how much I love my job. There isn't any other job in the world that I would rather do. Seeing the sparkle in the kids' eyes and all the smiling faces that day--there aren't even words for it. Thank you for sharing your child with me this year! They are a great group of kids and honestly, they teach me just as much as I teach them. I hope you enjoy the pictures from our memorable day!

Class Pictures

I am trying to get better at taking more class pictures (and trying to get Ms. Mills and I in them!).  I know I take a lot of pictures but I enjoy sharing what we are doing at school with all of the parents/guardians. My guess is a lot of kiddos answer, "Nothing," when asked what they did at school that day.  Here is more proof of the many "nothings" we do. :)
