Candy House/Project Day!

Fun, exhausting, chaotic at times, laughter, smiles, positive parent-child experience, making life-long memories...priceless!  That pretty much sums up of Candy House/Project Day last Thursday.  Classes rotated to different classrooms to take part in different holiday activities.  In my room, we made reindeer goody bags (raisins, chocolate chips, popcorn, & marshmallows) and also made a reindeer card for our families.  Mrs. Reynolds had the kids color and glitter stockings and tree toppers.  Mrs. Norvell had the kids make light bulb necklaces.  In Ms. Kerber's room, kids made gifts for their families and a holiday bag to put them in.  The kids made their candy houses with someone special (parent, teacher, grand-parent, helper, etc.) in Mrs. Cory's room.  Just typing and thinking about it reminds me of how tiring but exciting of a day it was!  You can really see the joy on the kids faces in the pictures.  Happy Holiday!  Enjoy!
