We had a GREAT first day in KM! We learned a lot of expectations: classroom, assembly, play area, bathroom, hallway, some classroom library, and some playground. The kids were very well behaved, a little talkative at times, but overall, we had a great day. We even learned a new song to help us remember our classroom expectations! Maybe we can even record it so you can hear it (as soon as everyone knows it!)! :)
I showed the kiddos this clip when they got to school today and we talked about if anyone felt like Nemo.

I also read David Goes To School and we talked about how to be a good student and what David should have done to have a good day at school.
This seems like a great group so far and they are all so kind to one another. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and more great days throughout the year!

Welcome to KM!
Happy Back To School Week! I am excited to start a brand new year with new kiddos. Last year, I had bought a house and was planning a wedding on top of being a teacher. This year, I get to be a teacher and start my Master's in November. I am looking forward to having an awesome year and to gaining many lasting memories with my new class.
Tonight is Back-To-School Night for the families. It goes from 5-6:30 pm. Please stop by to do our scavenger hunt so you are more prepared for the first day of school. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a great night!
Attached is the first snack calendar. This is included in the packet families can pick up tonight in my classrom. I will be sending a snack calendar home at the end of every month.
